Maybe you have seen this in the news. "Anxiety about the election is impacting the real estate market!" This is a myth I hear every 4 years. Sure, buyers and sellers are anxious about the future but that doesn't seem to impact their daily reality and needs. They still need a bigger house for a growing family or are moving because of a job transfer. Here is a chart from the NAR that shows the national "vibe" in the run up to a presidential election has no real impact on the housing market.
